    Debra L. Bernard

    PRESIDENT

    Breaking new ground comes naturally to Debra: At just 26, she was appointed as the first woman vice president of California’s largest builder, KB Home. For more than 35 years, Debra has maintained an impressive track record of excellence and leadership in residential building. Clients come to her for her corporate homebuilding experience, wide knowledge of the industry, creativity, strong product decisions – and downright instinct. Not one for B.S., Debra holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.

    Susan Henrichs

    RESEARCH DIRECTOR

    Susan helps clients exceed business goals by managing their ongoing marketing programs. Internally, she plays a pivotal management role in ensuring research, feasibility studies and marketing updates are of the highest quality. Since joining The Bernard Partnership in 1994, she has worked on multiple projects that have garnered the highest industry accolades, including MAME and Gold Nugget awards. She previously held positions in the East Bay and Illinois.

    Maryalice Widness

    SALES DIRECTOR

    Maryalice’s broad experience in marketing and sales management includes various market segments: active adult communities, mixed- use developments, inner city renovations and traditional residential projects, as well as property management. Her ability to multi-task ensures that each job runs smoothly and profitably. A Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Economics from Marymount College and graduate level studies in economics round out her big picture perspective.

    Alice Forsyth

    MARKETING DIRECTOR

    Alice has a diverse background and understands what message relates to today’s consumer and can oversee amazing marketing campaigns that are not only catchy, but relevant. Her years in finance as an organizational leader helps Alice bring a true bottom-line approach to the business. If you want to be sure that your creative ideas are brought in on time and on budget, she will not disappoint! Alice holds an MBA from the University of Bamberg, Germany with a focus in marketing.

    Spencer Bernard

    MARKETING COORDINATOR

    Spencer brings a fresh perspective to the table and is carrying on the family tradition. He has both a variety of work experiences from marketing to sales and new business development. He comes with a multifaceted education from Skidmore College in New York, where he earned his BS in Business and Management and Arts Administration. He can be found working on a range of tasks, such as competitive market analysis and research, site evaluation, administration, and photography.

    Jen Smith

    MARKETING ASSISTANT

    Nothing excites Jen more than collaborating with clients and developing new relationships. She has held integral positions at Centex Homes within their prestigious design studio and purchasing departments. In this position, Jen and her team earned J.D. Power exceptional customer satisfaction rankings multiple times. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration from San Francisco State University. Jen enjoys exploring new methods and ideas, as well as contributing to the growth of businesses.
